Also staying in bed for extended periods of time will add to your discomfort. The best way to combat this pain is to get up and walk around. Take short walks down the block. Hot bath with Epsom salts 

To get the most benefit from soaking in a hot bath with Epsom salts you will need to stay in for at least thirty minutes.

Taking a daily hot bath has a lasting effect throughout the day. This will also help reduce your stress level.
